I saw a video today of Legoland Florida's newly opened Waterpark (whose name is just Legoland Waterpark) and I'll be honest it looked pretty dull. It looks like they took what was there, spruced it up a little bit and thought that'll do. I can see how it's a good idea financially, but when you're competing with the - let's face it - already amazing waterparks in Florida (maybe minus Wet 'n' Wild), it seems their efforts have fallen a little short in my eyes.
Obviously it already has the name going for it, but will people really come back? It doesn't seem to offer anything new that the parks in Florida don't already cover and do miles better apart from a bit of Lego here and there. I guess my point is, should Merlin have tried harder and will this go downhill very quickly or, will the Legoland name keep drawing people in?
