They're both B&M's; both extremely similar but I want your opinion on which is better. Has Kraken improved upon Khan in any ways or does the originality win it?

I just want to clarify which is the better rollercoaster from those who've ridden both :)
 
I absoutly love Kraken, but was it like, 6 years since i last rode kahn so i cant really remember it and im sure its changed since then, but i am a massive kraken fan, so ill go for kraken =), although, it would be better if they took out the break run half way through.
 
This is a really tough one actually (I have only ridden Khan) But they have very similar layouts, with kraken seeming to have better trains and theming, but from looking at videos khan looks to have more wild pacing, and takes the last inversions ferociously. I spose i can't really comment cause i haven't ridden both, but thought id share my thoughts anyway :)
 
Khan. Haven't been on either but if I had to choose, easily Khan because of my fun on Kumba.
 
Kraken isn't god awful, What are you talking about? Kahn might be fractionally better than kraken, but it isnt awful. Its a great coaster. I personally prefer kraken.
 
Explain why it is awful? You cant just say that and not give a reason... and you do actually get some g's on it, and you get catch abit of air on that bit just before you go into the tunnel, and the drop is awesome. I think its fantastic. Im gonna really stick up for kraken, because most people out thier think its alot of fun. Theres more to a coaster than it just being forceful etc, its alot of fun.
 
Because it's forceless and unoriginal...? It just doesn't do anything worth caring about. I got off it like "well... yeah... what?"


It's by far the worst of the 6 Floorlesses I've done. Hydra's rubbish, but at least it's interesting.
 
Unoriginal? It was the first floorless coaster in southern north america, its the tallest and fastest in florida and it also held the record for the longest, untill expedition everest overtook it.... and you say its unorginal?
 
Found Kraken forceless and point less the last time I went on it, it just done nothing well.

The floorless trains do not add anything and the MCBR kill an already forceless coaster.

When it was 1st built it was better than a year ago.
 
Dragon Kahn, easily.

Mainly because Kraken is about as boring as Air, but also Dragon Kahn is really quite good, has some tight inversions which are quite nice.

So yeah, Dragon Kahn, because Kraken sucks.
 
I quite like Kraken as it's quite relaxing and floaty, like you're flying. However like others have said, it is completely forceless and a little boring.

Khan on the other hand is intense and thrilling from the first drop (zero-g roll <3) and is especially good in the dark.

So Khan. (And Kumba =])
 
I don't agree with people saying Kraken is pointless and crap etc its still better then alot of coasters it just isn't in the same league as Khan thats all.

I really enjoy Kraken but you can't compare it to Khan.
 
Out the two I have only been on Kahn so I wont vote. I prefer the look of Kahn and it also seems to have a better layout. Kraken does have a similar layout but not as good and others have said that its not as forcefull as Kahn or other floorless coasters.

I honestly think Superman: Krypton looks a lot better than the one at Warner. Wait. You're saying Khan is dull and Superman not?
