Knuthenborg Safari Park, which is safari-style zoo in Denmark is apparently opening a flume ride this year!
The park which is primarily known for it's animal encounters has invested in an ABC Big Splash, which will feature a 51 degrees steep drop with a height of 16 meters, finally the layout will be 395 meters long.
The name will allegedly be "Congo Splash"
This is very interesting news, and the idea has a lot of potential in my eyes!
- Just imagine a well themed flume ride, through real animal enclosures! - Not only is that a very unique idea in itself, it's also never heard of in Denmark, so needless to say I hope they go in that direction.
If this however, just is a generic amusement park flume, I am clueless as to what they were thinking investing that way.
