The following question appeared on Knoebel's facebook page yesterday - "What's 148 feet tall & travels at 47mph?"

I think that's their new design for their shot towers... I'm certain I remember seeing something like that at the IAAPA @ Orlando.

That image makes it look quite cheap and nasty, like that thing at Paultons.

If its anything like the almost exact replica at Waldameer and Moreys.. it will be sexy as hell and one of the better drop towers out there.
 
^I hope it's going to be an A.R.M./ Larson International drop tower like those (the size, speed & looks match), but rumor is that it's going to be a new S&S shot 'n drop. Keeping my fingers crossed that those rumors are false.
 
Agreed. The ARM/Larsons are better then drop towers twice their height.. and 95% of S&S rides have underwhelmed immensely, except The Shot in Vegas and Holiday Worlds.
 
All of the features of the rendering point to an ARM/Larson towers, which are epic. S&S also said that their new tower design would be debuting in Sochi in 2014.
