After Watching some videos and talking about it in class just this moment I thought. What does CF think?

So what do you prefer? K'nex or Lego?

And it's Lego. Not Legos. You don't say sheeps.
 
Lego, but it's lost something over the years with the pre-moulded specialist bits.

Anyway, K'nex is more an engineering toy, whereas Lego is a an art material :)
 
Lego!! The little oldskool tub of the stuff with windows, those cone shape trees, doodeh lego men!! Aww those were the days, I want some!!

Yep, in my day we had to build our own horses!!!

This is still a little late for my taste, but it's good :)

K'nex is clearly better. You can build rollercoasters with it!!

I would say that though, as im proud of my 5 rides I got.

Only it takes much more skill than with K'nex ;)

Does anyone remember that guy made an entire fairground out of Lego, were the rides worked, and also collapsed onto lorries?

Was very awesome!
 
I'll say K'nex, because it is what I grew up with, and you can accomplish more without having to use specialist bits.
 
K'nex is obviously much more complicated (actually, the only time I ever played K'nex I almost started crying because I got frustrated that I couldn't build a crane), whereas Lego you can just sit, and have fun, without getting all pissed.

Plus, how can you beat the little Lego men? Mine even came with old granny hair and such, it was cute!
 
Lego for me as it was my fav toy when growing up. I loved getting all the sets and building up towns and making train tracks. And even when you smash it all up you can still make somthing big out of all the seperate bits.
 
K-nex, as me and my brother would have contests to build a car out of it and chuck 'em down the stairs. Whichever had the least damage won @:p
 
K'nex. I remember building the Rippin' Rocket coaster in my room all on my own which took me like 3 days lol. Then after about a month I had to take it down as it took up too much space. :(
 
LEGO!!

Never really understood why K'nex is so popular as it is...
 
Lego is better for building static objects and cars and K'nex is better for things with lots of moving parks.

Both are great fun but I am going to say Lego is better as I have **** loads of it and have more memories playing with it than I do with K'nex.
 
Both!

They've both given me far too many hours constructing models. I love the simplicity of Knex, and the fact that you can make complex models out of a fairly simple selection of pieces. I also adore how intricate you can make mechanisms with Lego though. Technic really moved Lego forwards as well. The gears and rods meant that very clever contraptions could be built.

Anyway, I think they're both great, and you've inspired me to go and make a crazy contraption now. Hopefully using both!
