Infusion + Old People = Should Have Gone To Specsavers!

Not sure how many of you have seen this new Specsavers advert, or if it is mentioned in any other topics here (couldn't find any) but I thought it was quite amusing. Two old people are sitting on Blackpool beach easting a cheese sandwich when all of a sudden they find themselves riding Infusion at the Pleasure Beach. They both end up surprisingly wet and after the ride is over the old man says 'What sort of cheese was that?!'

That was really funny, and now I'm wondering, what is Specsaver's?
 
I bought my glasses in Specsavers and STILL had to suffer through Infusion...


False advertising.
 
Specsavers do some very good adverts with their Should Have Gone To Specsavers catchphase. I think our non-uk members probably need to do some YouTubing to aprciate it fully. I personally like the one where the old farmer shears his dog.
 
Its good, my mum found it funny. But then I got nerdy when I said exactly what ride it was!
 
I get my glasses and contacts from Specsavers, I remember when I first went on Infusion, I still had my glasses and they almost fell off because of the head banging :lol:

Anyway, I think this advert advertises cheese more than it does glasses, now I'm thinking "I want a cheese sandwich which makes it seem like I'm on a roller coaster" instead of "Must get my glasses from specsaver... oh wait, I already do, yay!". See what I mean?
 
just a few questions:

1 - how did they get food on the ride?
1b- and the bag?
2 - was there no queue or somethings?
3 - when were the seat belts removed fropmk the ride?
4 - automatic otsrs?
5 - the restraint comes down onto the mans arms - - yet his arms are free later on.. hows that?
6- how come they got a splash of water one them - they always miss me?

The most predictable post on this forum in a long time. Not necessarily from you... but someone was going to be a smart-ass and say it.
 
I liked that quite a bit.
What kin dof cheese was that has to be one of the all time best advert cath phrases ever.

The kind of cheese I WANT to eat. If you take a bit and go on Infusion that fast, that must be some ****ing good cheese!
 
:lol: , really good ad. I love the way the restraints just come out of nowhere and then are straight into the ride.

I think the ad would work well if it was used to advertise BPB too.
