It has. I did it a while back...

And I got angry at the people who like their steak well done.

Anyway, between rare and medium depending on the quality of the meat.

So at home, usually medium, because I'm tight.

Everyone knows the options are:

Blue
Rare
Medium rare
Medium
Medium well
Well done

For this (correct) list it'd be Medium-Well. The right amount of flavour with a properly cooked piece of meat.

Medium-rare is best, but I rarely find somewhere where they havn't gone Medium, Medium-well done or rare, because some places forget it is still cooking when they serve it to you.

I'm gonna sound really dumb here, but no matter what, I don't understand the spectrum of steak cookage. A few weeks ago, I went to the steakhouse and he asked me how I wanted my steak, and all I could do was stare at him blankly, feeling stupid that I didn't know what to say.

I like my steak with a lot of pink in the middle, but cooked on the outside edges.

I like mine medium. Medium well is too cooked, and medium rare is just a bit too underdone.
