Holiday Park | Tomorrowland Area + Ride | 2026

Following 2017's Holiday Indoor (thread), which they now open in winter too so the park has some year round income, the next phase in Plopsa's development plan for Holiday Park has been retheming the park's 1984 rapids Donnerfluss. New for this year it has been themed as "Dino Splash" (as Plopsaland's flume was rethemed recently and Plopsa Coo's slide complex is themed).

And now construction is already well underway for 2021's expansion with a new Wickie the Viking themed land. It will be a copy of Plopsaland's with a Disk'o Coaster and Splash Battle. It will be located beside the park's existing Wickie themed log flume, and Expedition GeForce itself.

Also just to share as I as can't find a mention of it anywhere else on CF.
Plans presented a few years back for a water park similar to the Plopsaquas fell through or have been put on hold for the foreseeable; but last year the park did announce they are planning to add a 80 room hotel which should feature a pool for guests too. Expected around 2023/24.

Not gonna lie, I’ve done plopsa and was looking forward to visiting holiday park, but it’s pretty dull that the new holiday park expansion is practically a clone of plopsa.

Do you think they'll ever put another large scale coaster in the Park, or are they changing tactics?
Looks like they did already change tactics, more than once. EGF was built in 2001, and it took until 2010 for the park to get another coaster. Then there was one in 2014 and one in 2018, so more could be on the way.

Large on the scale of EGF, however? Again, it's almost 20 years old, so one would think that if they wanted more of those, they would have built one by now.

I like that they're slowly going around the park and sprucing things up (still not convinced on these dino re-themes). The Wickie Land at Plopsa is a pretty nice area so this feels like a good addition to the park. Honestly the thing that park needs is just more attractions. Hopefully they'll add another decent sized coaster in the near future.

I feel like this parc misses a decent family coaster. The step up from the indoor kiddie to gforce or skyscream is just too big imo. A family woody like the one at plopsa or a gerst like the ones at parc asterix / bellewaerde would be a great fit.
Totally agree with you!

Furthermore I think they removed a lot of trees for this Wickie Land expansion. I hope the park doesn't lose its nice forest atmosphere

One of these new Gerstlauers would be fab. Something like Wakala or Pegase Express on a smaller scale would be a perfect for the park. However, if Heidi has proven to be successful, maybe they will want to install a family wooden coaster? After all, it would be an addition that would look well, be substantially different (from a marketing perspective) to what they already have and be a crowd pleaser.

As a goon, I have been to this park a couple of times and I am in no rush to go back since it doesn't offer anything substantial yet, but I have to say that it's a well-rounded park! It has many flat rides, a couple of solid water rides a couple of good coasters and plenty of things to do for kids.

The 10 million euro new Wickie Land which will open this year in Holiday Park is almost done.

There is little news regarding the planned 80 room hotel for 2023 which was the last part of this 3 phase 25 million investment plan.

The park have also removed this year the old Mack SeaStorm and Huss Swing Boat behind the lake show seating area. Other than the show now this area is now totally empty so wouldn't be surprised if its the site of an upcoming project.

Looks like a great addition. I hope they have plans for a family thrill coaster in the near future.
Where is the hotel supposed to be located?
