Harbin Amusement Park Build Fake SLC with worst ever colours

Hey all

Harbin amusement park in China are building an SBL rip off SLC with what must be the worst paint scheme ever...

Green track with orange supports for the lift (thats passable) but all orange track for the rest of it just looks like a bad fanta advert

Edit: I have just noticed in the video they are still painting the rest of the ride green.... its still pretty bad though

And it looks like they were painting it.. with rollers. This paint job is going to be epic.

LOL painting it with rollers?! I completely missed that, ahaha, wow, they can have fun with that.

The colour scheme is hideous and the ride doesn't look very good. Looks like a real winnna!

I almost got lost on that Chinese site. Luckily, the red exit (Close) button has the universal X no matter where you go. :lol:

Anyways, that looks so ugly, it's the worst possible orange color with a pretty bad green. And painting it with rollers = fail.

Lol, what a rip off, and a bad one at that. Its like the result of building an SLC on RCT! They've tried to stick to the same layout too, which is crazy!

Is this the same company that built that other mahoosive green SLC in Asia somewhere?

I really don't understand how they're getting away with this... Surely Vekoma should have some sort of copyright on the layout? Or have they managed to change it just enough to pass it off as their own? The layout is kinda weird, just like an SLC "gone wrong", and the supports, as well as the ties on the track look different. Can they not come up with their own ideas?!

I know that Meisho Amusement Machines of Japan have their own SLC's which are identical to that of Vekoma's, and are sold under license, as well as their Junior coasters, Mk-900/700(?), Arrow Corkscrew/Loop and Corkscrew coasters along with their own coaster designs.

Pfft, those fake SLC's are supposedly absolutely horrid. Didn't surprise me one bit.
