First Triple Corkscrew Coaster in 21 Years Appears In China.

A bit late with this but Zhipao Rides have just advertised their new massively mislabeled 6 Ring Coaster. The ride actually only has 5 inversions but most interestingly it has 3 corkscrews in a row. A characteristic which has been unique to Fantasia Special in South Korea for 21 years. The Ride is in Elm Creek Park in the city of Yulini in Shanxi.

Hebei Zhongye don't actually mention where this ride has been built in China but it sure looks interesting.

The triple corkscrews on Fantasia Special are excellent, easily the best corkscrews on a traditional-style coaster.

Anyone notice the suspiciously flat entry into the corkscrews. Thats got to pull some Lateral G's. Apparently these guys split off from Hebei Zhongye Metallurgical Equipment Manufacturing who are probably already known as the worst of the knock off companies. :S

I do, however, love the colour scheme. That vibrant red with the brilliant white works so so well.

The complete lack of banking on that turn makes me want to vomit... Cool corkscrew supports though.

It was kind of funny to see some other enthusiasts acting like this'll ride just like Fantasia Special. Gavin put it best, really.

I was thinking that the siixth "ring" may be the ring of stars that forms around your head, a la cartoons, when on the ride!!

I do rather like the look of the triple corkscrew... but the quality of the ride experience on this concerns me.

The supporting structure is nice.

You wait 21 years for a triple corkscrew and then two come along at once. Typical!

Not happy with having one Triple Corkscrew Machine Of Doom the Chinese have built another one. It appears to be the same design as the first one built by Zhippao Rides.

This time at the snappily named "Wei Yi Mei County City Amusement Park" in Baoji.

Shame that once again the ride is well off the beaten track so I doubt we will have any reviews soon
