I went to Thorpe Park for the first ever time on Friday :--D
Ride count:
Nemesis Inferno x3
Flying fish x1
Colossus x3
Loggers leap x1
Saw the ride x3
The Swarm x4
( the only coasters I didn't ride were Stealth and X)
The day started off with clear skies but that certainly changed later on. I started off with Nemesis Inferno. I rode this on the front row and sat in the seat next to where Will sat in that Inbetweeners episode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXHtKdNelCQ
Its a nice ride, not as good as the original and not very intense either. I really liked the refreshing misty tunnel and the loop was fairly forceful. Its simply a very fun and reridable coaster that I would go on over and over again if it was a walk on. The queue was never longer than 20 minutes all day.

After this I headed to The Swarm but turned around to Colossus and Saw after seeing that the queue was 85 minutes and stealth was 45. On the way to them I had a quick ride on Flying fish for the +1 to my coaster count.
Queue for Colossus was only 10 minutes so I had two rides. It was awesome! Its not smooth and there is almost no legroom but it was a fantastic ride. Its reasonably long and quite intense. The quadruple heartline roll was very fun. In my opinion this is a little bit better than The Smiler.
I had a quick go on Loggers leap. It was alright. The drop was pretty good and it doesn't do much pointless winding around like the one at Alton Towers.
Next I rode Saw the ride. It had a 40 minute queue but I was happy to wait because I really wanted to see what it was like.
It was **** great! I got on the front row of the second train for the best and most immersive experience. "Heres what happens if you lose" The indoor drop really took me by surprise. It was steeper and bigger than I thought it was from the video and was followed by a fun inline twist over a dead body. Then it was "game over" and we went down the fun 100 degree 100 foot drop followed by an immelman, overbank, good airtime hill, great drop after mcbr and dive loop.
I've heard its rough. I didn't find it rough at all! Its not quite as smooth as B&M but there was no rattle, creaking noises or grinding along the track like I found on The Smiler. I actually thought it was better than The Smiler because it is fairly intense, has some good airtime and it actually has transition points unlike The Smiler which is inversion after inversion after inversion. I'm not the only one who thinks Saw is better am I?? It is currently my third favorite coaster.
After Saw we headed to a 60s themed KFC near Tidal Wave. Whilst we were having lunch a thunderstorm accompanied by heavy rain shut everything down for about 45 minutes. Once it had died down I rushed to The Swarm and got straight on!
I rode Swarm 3 times on the left and once on the right. One of my rides was front row on the left. In my opinion it is better on the left because the first inversion and drop is better- it feels great when you go down and are slowly lifted back upside down with great hangtime before you drop. Also the near misses are better on the left.
Some people will not like what I have to say about The Swarm- it has replaced Nemesis as my favourite coaster! I rode just after the thunderstorm so it was dark and cloudy which fitted in with the theme of destruction. It is a coaster where you can simply sit back, relax and enjoy. The seats are comfortable and the ride is fairly intense and forceful but not so much that you get a headache after re rides like I did with Nemesis.
After four rides on The Swarm I had some more rides on Inferno, Colossus and Saw.
I can't wait to get back on Saw
In the Saw station
Finally, here is an ORP of me on Saw. The wind is blowing the back of my shirt up making me look like a hunchback.
