Favourite Coaster Type?

This has probably been posted before, but what the heck.

What is you favourite type of Coaster?

Mine would have to either be a B&M Inverted Coaster or an S&S Power El Loco.

I enjoy riding B&M Inverts but I mainly enjoy watching them. I just love seeing them travel over Zero G rolls and loops.
I love the tracks and cars of S&S El Locos. I mainly love all of the sharp turns and inversions, and the way the cars travel through them so smoothly.

Quite simple, but there you go...

B&M inverted, but SLC's are decent as well, despite everyone's bitching to the contrary ha ha.

The B&M inverts used to be mine, but then I rode more than Nemesis (I though Inferno was maybe just a mild aberration).

I still enjoy them, but you realise how little actual variation there actually is between them.

Again, I'd say B&M multi-looper, but my total count is 1, so even though I loved Khan, I can't say it's a good representation of the type as a whole.

Intamin have some fantastic coasters, and Bizarro at SFNE is my top steel coaster by a fair way. Again though, is it a true representation? I really don't know, but it absolutely shines out as the only one of a multitude of Intamin coasters to make my top 20.

I could go on like this, but I know the truth... It's anything wooden. A good wooden coaster beats steel for me almost any day of the week. I think almost half my top ten is wood...

I think it has to be Accelerators. I just love them, yes, I know I've only ridden 3, but they've all been pretty good!

I'm a fan of the "strato coasters." Dragster was better than Kingda Ka, though. Plain and simple.
B&M coasters have too many flips and I always end up feeling blah after them. Though Nitro wasn't so bad.

Wooden coasters float my boat. I still don't think I've ridden enough of anything yet to make a top ten, but most of my favorites are wood. I love the way they move, the intensity, the noise they make, the extreme airtime, the openness of the carriages, the roughness and yes Richard, the pain!, as well as the geeky history that goes along with most of the UK examples.

I love the Grand National, and despite the dissing I get from everybody on here, I won't be swayed. (A steel coaster has to be bloody intense (i.e. Nemesis) to do anything for me - in general I am beginning to form the opinion that even the best steelies concentrate on a few elements, but have a lull in between, but a good woodie never lets up). Other favs. include Troy, Balder and Blackpool's wild mouse.

I'm also a big fan of Joris en Draak, another racing coaster, although not as good as the above list, I love the interaction with the crowd, and the extra element that you get from jeering on your competition.

So I guess I'm going for racing woodies as my favorite type. :--D
When I've ridden some more I'll get back to you

Lightning Racer is SO full of win Sue, get your butt over to Hershey Park. Then while you're in the area, you may as well pick up Boulder Dash and Phoenix... There another three wood for your top ten right there (sorry, FOUR... Lightning Racer is obv. two credz  )

Thanks for the recommendations Furie!
Everywhere I go, all I hear is Boulder Dash. I think I'm gonna have to start saving and check out this little lot :)

^You should also get your arse over to Spain and do Stampida (TWO credz!) Unless you a) came on the Spanish trip in yr9 and I can't remember, and b) got the credz then?

Well, yeah, because the Ultimate's actually GOOD, Stampids just sucks. It's not fun at all, it just hurts.
