Credit to Roomraider for unearthing this.

Fantawild have built a new park in Isfahan, Iran.

RCDB have the coasters listed as being running for over a year already. Obviously, Iran isn't on most enthusiasts' radar, so it's not surprising that it's taken this long to appear. The Fantawild branding isn't used from what I can see though; the park is just called "Dreamland". There's no question that it's a Fantawild park though.

Whereas their newer Chinese parks keep getting better and better, this one is like one of their old parks. There are just three small, Golden Horse coasters: a suspended mouse, space car and worm around. There are also a few knockoff flat rides and some of the in-house Fantawild staples: Dino Rampage (the oldest of their 4D dark rides), Space Journey (a simulator) and Conch Bay (an actually very impressive 4D theatre).

It's weird to me to see this old model replicated, but I'm guessing that whoever ordered this wanted it done as cheaply as possible. I know that Fantawild offer a "whole park" package, so I'd guess that they don't actually own the place and are perhaps not even involved in the actual running of it, but were just approached to build it.

It reminds me of a scaled-down version of their old Shantou park, with the exact same coaster selection, which was pretty awful when looking at what they're doing now:

In a market with no competition though, this would definitely be a "major" park.

I'm only guessing that they have less involvement here based on the lack (that we can see anyway) of Fantawild branding and that they sell their products, including whole park packages, to anyone who wants them.

As far as I know, they own and run all of the parks bearing the Fantawild name. They have sold individual rides to outside companies before, but, if I'm right with what I'm assuming, this is the first whole-park package that they've sold.

I could be wrong; they could own and run this one as well, though that seems unlikely given the location and lack of branding.

I believe it actually is owned by Fantawild. These 2 articles seem to indicate it is even if they don't actually have the words Fantawild on the gate.

It's an interesting move and that first article says they are moving into the South Africa and Ukraine Markets too.

It came as somewhat as a surprise to me when searching for updates on Fantawild Xiamen's new park that I came up with an article in Iran. I always thought Wanda would be the first to move out of China.

Edit
Found the Ukrainian Park plan

Seems to be for Crimea though. :S

Interesting to read that they're primarily an animation company.

That makes a lot of sense. The 3D films for their rides and cinemas are outstanding.
