Before anyone else brings it up:

Easter Eggs in Tesco already?! Oooohhhh it gets earlier every year etc. It's disgusting, it really is. It never used to be like this etc. We've only just got Christmas over with an' all!

Discuss with reference to "Woolworth's was the best place for Easter Eggs. Shame it's gone!"
 
I saw Easter Eggs in Tesco the day after Boxing Day.
It's disgusting, too early yadda yadda and allthat crap.
 
I see them earlier, usually.

This year I haven't seen any as of yet.

I don't mind...the offers are great, like 4 for a fiver on bigish ones. Noms.

It does seem to be a bit early to have it on the shelves already but it's chocolate and I love chocolate.
 
I shall be first to do what gavin asked and talk with reference to Woolworths :wink:

Woolworths was alright, but what you want is for a shop to be open right up until the last minute to get the best deals, which I always found to be easier in a supermarket.

Woolworths after Easter when the sales on eggs were on are a different matter.

And yes, it's annoying that they are being sold so early.
 
I ****ing love mini eggs so I'm ****ing buzzing they're back in the shops.

lol they do it every year, whats to complain about! Makes sense too.

Christmas is over...sell easter stuff... easter is over, sell summer stuff, summers over sell halloween stuff, halloweens over sell christmas stuff.

jeez man.

But yeah, I miss woolworths eggs =( Even though I'm not a chocolate fan.
 
Last year, I was utterly disgusted! I brandished my copy of the Daily Mail and marched right up to the spotty slag that worked behind the fag counter.

"Oi Mum!" I said in my usual way of greeting a relative. "It's only one day after Easter, and you've already got next year's stock on the shelves already! You're even pushing that at half price!!! You disgust me, mater!"
 
They haven't hit the shelves here yet, but they have decided to start selling hot cross buns, which is stupid because they are perishable and I thought the whole argument retailers made was that people liked to stock up early.

All the regular chocolate eggs can get stuffed for the time being, but I wish creme eggs weren't just a seasonal product here...they're too good for that.
 
So, we've got 3 months until Easter, and most the eggs are already gone from my local Co-Op...

It's quite funny really :lol: Strange though, because Valentines day is next month and I haven't seen anything for it yet.
 
I like creme eggs, but the rest I don't like, but i don't mind looking at chocolate early as opposed to seeing xmas in august september time.

HA, they made them a permanent item here, it's amazing.

I haven't seen Easter stuff here, but it's only a matter of time I'm sure. It honestly doesn't bother me though, and I don't get why like, people continue making a big deal of it when they know holiday items are released way too early, year after year.
 
I just saw it today in Tesco. They have a whole section for Easter in January!! Although the new Malteaster egg things are amazing :p !

But seriously way too early in the year :roll: .
