So, I was staying with Ben in the West Midlands Urban Area.

There's a cred at Dudley Zoo so we GRABBED it.

It's normally £13 to get in, but we contacted the park before we went and got in for £8. As the rides are extra, the cred being £1, the discount made it a lot less spiteful. £9 for a cred is OK, but £14 is taking the piss really.

Don't really have any photos of the Zoo. It was half nice and half gross. The setting is actually fab, as it's set around the castle, which is preserved quite well. However, most of the enclosures were really 60's and tatty. Not worth the £13, but if you get the discount it's alright.

There was a random HUGE Turkey mincing in one of the buildings. When we first saw it we thought it was a statue, then it just MOVED </3.

Got the cred.

Seriously, it's always nice to read these reports from out of the way places people rarely get to (I wish I could go there, but I just don't know how to do that kind of travelling, it all looks a bit expensive and scary, plus they speak foreign (maybe if Rach could come along to translate? No, it's still to far and scary)) and it was informative and well written as always. You definitely deserved that Best Trip Reported 2011 CF-Award Jake... Oh, wait...

I live in Dudley, and I didn't know about this cred -.- Black country museum is so much better though!
