Dreamland Awarded £3.7m by Heritage Lottery Fund

According to UK Park News Dreamland have been awarded £3.7m by Heritage Lottery Fund. The article claims that the park is due to open "Summer 2013" and that Dreamland expect to see in excess of 350,000 visitors per year.

The money will be used to complete phase 1 of the Restoration, restoring the Scenic Railway to full working order, after it was partly destroyed in an arson attack during 2008. It will also be used to restore other rides, the Dreamland Cinema, and the park’s Main Entrance.
