I want to finally finish the UK creds this year (at least, the ones I can get without a kid anyway) so does anybody know if this park requires a child?

I don't think so. There were no signs up or restrictions listed on their website. When I visited last year, I paid for myself and walked in with Family Mess. Although they might have seen me talking to them before going in and assumed I was with them.
I can't give you a definite answer but I think you'll be ok. Interact with some kids as you queue up to buy tickets so it looks like you're with them. Besides, if it's just you and Conor nobody will bat an eyelid to a couple, just don't go with a group of adults.

I rang them up a few years ago and the manager gave me a tour of the park. Had to pay in but I still got a bit of VIP. And a got a stall credit on the kiddie coaster. Bi-winning.
