Djurs Sommerland opened for a new season yesterday and yet again, they had some impressive new stuff to show.
- This time in the form of a new family/kiddie area, called, "Bondegårdsland", which basically translates to "Farmland".
The new area is designed by Jora Entertainment and there is really something for everyone!
With a pricetag of 45 million DKK, this new "themed land" features 10 different rides!
In this report I will cover the new area and give you my review, photos as well as videos while during so.
The photos aren't the greatest as I was mainly focused on getting some video yesterday.
Here we go.
Video of the whole area, including all the new rides:

POV and off ride clips of the new family coaster:

Okay, so here is my thoughts.
This new area is a huge improvement over the former kiddie area.
The ride selection is great and the theming is on par with the latest additions in Djurs Sommerland.
In my opinion this is what the park really needed and it's fantastic to see them grow in the manner they do.
There is quite a lot to do in the new area, in this picture alone there is 4 new rides to be seen.
The "tractor" ride has lovely theming around it's course.
"Milkshakeren", a lot of the new rides are new to Denmark, like this Zamperla Barnyard.
Or this Demolition Derby.
Lot's of neat little details at the different rides.
This is themed to a grain mill.
One of two ponds, here seen with the Zamperla Jump Around and a new snack bar.
Serving milkshakes and frozen yoghurt!
Children's carrousel.
The new family coaster.
Coaster station.
The new area is very popular!
Lovely theming all around.
The new snack bar.
That's it!
Hope you liked the report and definitely visit Djurs Sommerland if you have the chance, it's really becoming one of the best parks in Europe!
