Daily Telegraph:Britains Fastest Roller Coasters

Thanks for that, enjoyed looking through them.

Something though, why is Stealth's throughput 1,200 PPH and Rita's is only 1,000 PPH ?
 
^Both Millennium Coaster and Kumali are tied at number 7 with the same speed so there is no number 8.

I bet Fantasy Island are loving this poll with 2 coasters in the top 10. Although doing a poll just based on speed is a bit strange. Some people might conceive that the top 10 for speed would automatically be the top 10 best coasters in the UK. Its the only time Millennium Coaster would ever feature in a top 10 for sure. :shock:

and I've been on all but the new ringracer.

So they both go exactly the same speed, find that really hard to believe, anyway lol.

I have been on the whole top 10.

I am shocked by a few of them as Speed did not feel fast and neither did Millennium RC
or Kumali.
 
In the whole of it UK / British coaster are bad compaired to most other countrys. There still good but not world class.
 
£24 million for JO! :shock: Who on earth would £24m for that when for £25m you can get the worlds tallest coaster?

I've been on 5, will get 4 more on a trip up north next month. I'm obviously a speed freak... a British one. :roll:
 
Good stuff.

It's rare that a non-enthusiast report will have accurate and up-to-date stats on stuff like this, so kudos to the Telegraph.

While we're comparing penis sizes (:P), I've been on eight of the UK top ten, and none of the world top ten.
 
I've done all ten. It doesn't make me a better person :P

Not done any of the worldwide ones though - but I did see Ka from within a few meters :(

Yeah its probably the first positive press the park has ever had!

Its the only time Millennium Coaster would ever feature in a top 10 for sure.

Ouch, that must have been horrible! I would dread that happening to me!
 
^It was, in America. But, obviously it would cost a lot more than that in England, because building anything costs more here.
