Closure of BPB Noah Ark

Can someone tell me why was this attraction closed..? As rare rides like these should be saved. They did the same with the Tumble Bug & The Whip. An English park could of bought these rides & continue running them. I know The Whip went to Dreamland (any news of when it will be working again if ever)..

Re: Removal of BPB Noah Ark

I don't think anyone knows, but it's probably a combination of how much it costs to run, how much it would cost to make it H&S compliant and how much it costs to maintain.

I wish they would just get rid of it though, move the entrance round to the ticket centre they've built and open up a fair chunk of space for something new.

The annoying claim culture and the rising costs of insurance for these types of attractions are probably the main factors, especially as they closed at a time when BPB axed a lot of rides and shows from their lineup. I can't imagine Noah's Ark or Trauma Towers would do well in the modern day considering the types of attractions they were, you only have to look on social media to see the nonsense parks have to put up with when people find a ride rough, they no longer just say it was rough, they exaggerate by saying they got whiplash, they have spinal damage etc, it's a nonsense and must drive PR departments mad when they are trying to encourage people to visit but get comments like that.

It's a bloody big shame that Impossible somehow survived the axe at BPB, it's rubbish!

Maybe BPB should of gone to Kennywood to see how they look after their classic flat rides. Our H&S is so rubbish & is taken too far as it spoils everything for everyone when its only common sense.

I heard of one of the ride staff at the time of closure that a great deal of the interior woodwork was as rotten as hell,
likewise the Haunted Hotel.

Trauma Towers was a bit fab. They could have done so much with it and made their own 'in-house' scare attraction, but, that'd be losing them £100,000 a year in rent from Pasaje I suppose
