Cedar Point - "2014 Sling Shot Ride"

I was browsing around Screamscape when I saw this:

Park News - (2/7/14) CPFansite has made an interesting find this week… a hit on the FAA website says that Cedar Point is seeking approval to install a 236 foot tall slingshot ride to be installed near Gemini. I’m not sure if they are hoping to have this ready for the 2014 season or just planning ahead for 2015.

The CPFansite says it will be part of the Gemini Midway expansion, so it could arrive for the 2014 season.

Thats pretty tall for a sling shot! Whats the average height for one? Over 200 feet, thats gonna be a crazy ride! That'd be cool if they used this ride as a way to combine Challenge Park into Cedar Point and morph them together. Wonder why they haven't made an announcement about this yet.

Heard about this on screamscape, this could become like the skycoaster craze. Whitch would be awesome and I hope this will be free.
