I've never had a good experience with S&S drop towers, so scratch that off the list. Both woodies in question flat out suck, and CP's has two fire incidents under its belt so CP knows it sucks, too. Maybe swing that towards CW instead?

Some other catagories for random reasons:
Flat ride package, Cedar Point. Lack of ride removals, Canada's wonderland. Most need of ride removals, Canada's Wonderland. Best use of terrain, CW because they made their own terrain for Vortex. Media attention, Cedar Point. In the end, Valleyfair wins!

Canada's Wonderland is better, but Cedar Point has a better selection of coasters in my opinion. Wonderland's is good, but Leviathan, Behemoth, and Minebuster are the only things I particularly like in the park.

Personally, I'd always put an Intamin drop tower over an S&S. And I thought both woodies at CW were better than Mean Streak. That's not to say they're good, because they're not, but they're still, in my opinion, better than Mean Streak.

To be honest, I'd call both parks pretty much equal as well, though.

Nice, impartial comparison. I agree that Leviathan looks better than MF and Behemoth looks better than Magnum (I've been to CP but not CW so I can't say for certain). I would have put CW's gyrodrop over CP's S&S drop tower. Having said that, next summer CP will have a big 5 (Maverick, MF, Magnum, TTD, GateKeeper) and CW will only have a big 2 (Leviathan and Behemoth).

CW doesn't have a gyro drop, just a regular, run-of-the-mill drop tower, but those are infinitely better than the s&s equivalents.

And Lotte World (the world's first) and Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village...

Ugh.

Kings Dominion's is the only one I've been on that can't be bothered to rotate on the way up.

If I recall correctly only Kings Island and Kings Dominion have the gyro drops.
And Heide Park.

One more reason to go then. Does their's spin on the way up? Kings Dominion's hasn't spun since like 2010.

Longer than that... my first trip to KD was in 2006 and it hasn't rotated since then.

I don't think Kings Dominion's drop tower has a rotation mechanism built into it, unless it's very well packaged and concealed.

The gyro drop at Heide Park does rotate on the way up. Now that I think of it Liseberg does have a gyro drop-style tower as well, but much like KD's version since it unfortunately doesn't spin..

No. Kings Dominion's Gyro Tower does not spin.

Let's steer this back to Canada's Wonderland and Cedar Point.

What spreadsheet formula do I use to multiply two numbers and add another? I have created a spreadsheet and I can't figure out what formula to use. I need to multiply the cost of a cd by the number of cds and then I have to add the shipping charge. So it will be C3 * D3 + E3. What formula do I use? Thanks!
