Obviously you need to break the skin in order to start peeling, but can you peel off all the skin in one go?

Just like this chap can...

I can't but I'm certainly going to practise on the remaining delicious oranges I have left in this bag.

I cannn. I have like, serious OCD tendancies for things like that, and always have, so over my childhood I developed the technique. It doesn't ALWAYS work because the peel just sometimes spites and splits, and then I cry, but, I get it about 50% of the time.

I can with smaller stuff like satsumas, but don't think I'd manage it with a whole big orange

Tried it last night, did it first go. It wasn't much of a challenge and it's not something I'm in a rush to do again for a "buzz".

Unlike wearing an orange net on your head?

Yes but you have to peel a thin strip all away round leaving a small part of the skin intact, then peel away the two half moons at the top and bottom of the orange.

The result is a juicy orange and some orange skin which looks like two ginormous testicles and a long skinny penis. ha.

^Technically the room you're in can't be anything but room temperature. ;)

I'll usually try to peel the whole lot off in one go, about 80% success rate. I don't bother with Oranges much though, can never eat a full one and always end up needing a bath afterwards as I'm covered in juice. I much prefer the small ones like Satsumas or Clementines, just enough for me in one of those and if the skin is loose then it's perfect.

I have about 90% success rate, using a different method.

The far superior method I use:
