Calippo?

The delicious brand of ice lollies (well, until they decided to change Strawberry to Strawberry Tropical a few years back, at least) was in a joke on this week's Harry Hill's TV Burp (http://www.itv.com/itvplayer/video/?Filter=181577 Watch from 14:30 onwards)...

However, strangely, Harry Hill calls it a Cali-ppo. I've NEVER heard it pronounced like this before...
That's right, it's another "How do you pronounce that thing?" topic! And this time, it's from someone who pronounces "Golf" with an a!

So, how do YOU pronounce the word "Calippo"?
Do you call it a "Ca-lippo", like myself, or should I be correcting myself to actually call it a "Cali-ppo", like Harry Hill?

I think I pronounce it the way you do however yummy was one of the options and a Calippo is very yummy so I voted that.

I've always called it Ca-lippo, just like all my friends and family. Harry Hill's the only person I've heard pronounce it differently. I guess it's like Fluch Von Novgorod; some people pronounce it "Fluke" and others "Fluckk".

But still, I lost respect for the lolly after they made it more soft and mushy
