Giga Poster
Bling at PBB has been advertised as for sale in some German magazine.
That's all I know.

Do you have any evidence/proof?

Not that I don't believe you (or care really!), but it'd be nice to be able to back this up. Where did you hear it from?

I've seem this on a PB Forum as well. This is the only link I can find, It was off the park map this year I suppose and was rumored for being up for sale.

It's from the German industry magazine “Kirmes & Park Revue“, specific details given about the ride include a footprint of 20m wide x19m deep, an operating height of approximately 30m, and a it said the capacity was around 600 riders an hour.

Whilst looking for evidence of this in a magazine, I interestingly found an ad for a traveling Mondial UK top scan. "Available for purchase immediately or at the end of the season, can be viewed in England." Wonder where that is?

I just saw it on Twitter, thanks alexr, I've put that on my first post if you don't mind. :)

^It's advertised as being in Hastings. Therefore, it makes far more sense to assume that its the one that's actually in Hastings than a travelling one. When I was reading this topic, before I clicked on that link above, I guessed it was probably that one anyway. Makes sense.

I'll be surprised if they can sell it on, travelling models are much cheaper to buy and obviously easier to move around, where as Bling is the park model so it's more expensive and more work is involved for anyone who is willing to take a risk on it.

I do think it'll be at PB for the start of the 2012 season.

Why do PB even want to sell it in the first place? Is it a nightmare? It's not freeing up any space to remove it. They are odd that park, downsizing to the extreme, and one day they will realise that it's halved their attendance.

To be honest, it's one of the rides that's had the most downtime in the park for a long time. It's very unreliable.

Does anyone have any idea how much one of these sells for?
If people know that travelling versions are 'cheaper' then someone must have an idea.
Just interested

It has been a lot more reliable this season than it has been in the past, I know they did a lot of work on it last winter.

I don't want to see it get sold, it would be a loss to PB unless they have a direct replacement for it.

PB is short of rides like Bling, so I don't see why they want to sell it but they know what they are doing.

To be honest, they really need to get a BIG flat ride. They've got rid of three now in what, 6 or so years without adding one? Spin Doctor and now Bling? Come on, Pb.

Spin Doctor was a waste of time, the capacity was dreadful and the queue was at least two hours once the crowds had picked up.

That may be the case, but the fact is, when they got rid of them, it was very noticeable that a ride had gone. It's alright tarting the park up and what not, but getting rid of your rides will actually start to reduce your guest throughput and visitor numbers.

You Hate Amanda for getting rid of quite an Unreliable ride?

I asked her on Twitter if Bling was for sale and if something would replace it

do not know yet. but it is for sale as we have to keep adding new attractions
