Best Theme Parks in Scandinavia

Alot of Scandinavian theme parks don't get spoken about very often and looking at them, the're are quite a few that look like pretty decent parks, either because of a stand out ride or just because the're are a nice park. Also from my experiences at Liseberg they have quite a different atmosphere from most parks. I have only been to Liseberg, so i can't make an accurate choice of which park is my favourite, but i should be able to visit some of the bigger Scandinavian parks next year. Plus Liseberg is probably the best one, but you never know. What is you're favourite Scandinavian park and why?

I've only been to the parks in Denmark but I don't agree that the Scandinavian parks don't get talked about. Because a lot of us visited Denmark in 2009 I know a lot of us have a soft spot for those parks, and I often see people discussing parks like Tusenfryd, Grona Lund, Liseberg etc.

Anyway, thinking about it my favourite Scandinavian park is probably Farup Sommerland, I like parks with foresty settings and things to climb on and it also has Lynet which is fab

Correct; you don't.

Liseberg is pretty mediocre really. I'd say that even just in Sweden, Grona Lund is better. In Denmark, Djurs has got Piraten, which is better than anything at Liseberg, and Farup is a really lovely park, as is Tivoli Gardens, though Bakken's a bit of a dump. Well, it's not really I suppose; it's just that it's nowhere near as nice as a lot of other Danish parks.

Sarkanniemi and Linnanmaki are both great parks, though they're perhaps both missing any real stand-out, signature rides.

And yeah, I agree with nadroJ; these parks get talked about all the time on Coasterforce. Just look at the trip reports topics to see that. CF may have a UK majority membership, but all of the parks you've mentioned are easily accessible from here, and a fairly large number of people here have been to them.
