Best GCI Coaster?

gforce

Roller Poster
What is your favorite GCI coaster?

My order is like this:

Thunderbird
Evel Knieval
Wodan
Troy
Gold Striker
Prowler
El Toro
Renegade
Ozark Wildcat
Thunderhead
Apocalypse
Lightning Racer (Thunder)
Lightning Racer (Lightning)
Joris en de Draak (Water)
Joris en de Draak (Fire)
White Lightning
Kentucky Rumbler
Gwazi (Tiger)
Gwazi (Lion)

I will ride Wood Coaster next month.

I haven't ridden much of GCIs, but here is my list:
1. Apocalypse; really nice woodie, my 2nd favorite (which isn't really much) and just outside my top 10
2. Gwazi (Lion); firstly, loading the train was utterly bad and the ride was nothing special (it was my 1st woodie and it dueled, so I don't really dislike it as much as some do)

of the 3 i've ridden it's in this order:

1. Lightning Racer - Serious amounts of fun, I cant choose a side that I like better than the other because they are both great
2. Wildcat (Hershey) - Also a lot of fun, not the best wooden coaster i've ridden by far, but I will still happily re-ride it every time i'm there
3. Roar! (SFA) - piece of ****

1) Troy: Fast and furious and just a little bit of shakiness to make it feel like a woody. Some great abrupt airtime within the relentless and quite tiring ride.

2) Apocalypse: Fast, fun, smooth and intense as well as having some good airtime, but a little on the short side.

3) Joris en de Draak: Provided a supposed family woodie, it certainly packed a punch especially considering it is one of the smallest GCI's

4) Wodan: Still a really good ride, but lacks airtime, and not quite as intense as apocalypse or Troy.

5) Gwazi: I probably like the ride more than most, but it is the roughest of the lot and sometimes can be to rough for comfort.

Prowler
Thunderhead
American Thunder

None are really bad, they are all really amazing actually, but Prolwer just has that craziness that the others don't have.

Thunderhead
Terminator Salvation
White Lightning
Kentucky Rumbler
Lightning Racer Thunder
Lightning Racer Lightning
Gwazi Tiger
Gwazi Lion
Wildcat
Roar (SFA)

I used to be "omgz GCII". The more I get on the more I be "eh". Outside of Thunderhead none of them blow me away.

1- Renegade
2- Prowler
3- Wood Coaster
4- Lightning Racer
5- Apocalypse (as Terminator)
6- Troy
7- American Thunder (as Evel Knievel)
8- Joris en de Draak
9- Wildcat
10- Gwazi
11- Roar (SFDK)
12- Roar (SFAm.)

I'll be riding Thunderbird in a week and a bit. :)

I hold GCIs in very high regard, with everything above Evel Knievel in my top 15 woodies (out of 71 as of the last Hawker poll).

1. Thunderhead
2. Apocalypse
3. American Thunder
4. Lightning Racer
5. Prowler
6. Wildcat

I guess something like this.

1 Troy Toverland
2 Kentucky Rumbler Beech Bend

4 Renegade Valleyfair!
5 White Lightning Fun Spot America
6 Apocalypse the Ride Six Flags Magic Mountain
7 Thunderhead Dollywood
8 Wildcat Hersheypark (back with the PTC's.... with the Flyers it got slloowww....)
9 Prowler Worlds of Fun
10 Roar Six Flags America
11 Lightning Racer Hersheypark
12 Gwazi Busch Gardens Tampa

and American Thunder at Six Flags St. Louis will be happening next weekend.

I've only been on a few but the only one that's really caught my attention is Thunderhead. The rest have all been pretty bland.

Thunderhead
Lightning Racer
Renegade
Wildcat
Gwazi (Lion)

Pre-MiFly GCIs have been incredibly rough by my experience, although that list only consists of Gwazi (with PTCs) and Wildcat.

Right now it's like:

-Lightning Racer
...big space of quality
-Gwazi
-Wildcat

Nabbing Roar (east) next week, and I've been told by a few friends that if I like Grizzly I'll like Roar.

-Troy
-Thunderbird
-Wodan

Troy and Thunderbird are amazing! Wodan felt like sex without the happy ending, it was good but it didn't leave me satisfied.

Updated list:

1- Renegade
2- Prowler
3- Wood Coaster
4- Lightning Racer
5- Apocalypse (as Terminator)
6- Thunderbird
7- Troy
8- American Thunder (as Evel Knievel)
9- Joris en de Draak
10- Wildcat
11- Gwazi
12- Roar (SFDK)
13- Roar (SFAm.)
