Bellewaerde Park | Amazonia | Intamin Rapids & More | 2024

Bellewaerde Park will be adding a new gen Intamin Rapids for 2024. Its looks to have a great layout and I really like the look of the giant halfpipe.


The ride will have two lifts with the highest at 26 meters being a vertical rotating elevator. A Zamperla Nebula will also be built along with other attractions. In fact lots of different areas of the park will being getting updates.

To be fair It does look like something from them but sources for quite a while have been saying its an Intamin Rapids, and there is this quote from the park " The exact planning is still under review with ride builder Intamin and the designers are busy ,"

There is this site that has a collection of articles dating back to early this year with most stating its an Intamin.

Work has started on the parks masterplan all round the park, here is a breakdown of what is coming to each area, the amount of new rides, theming and more is fantastic.

The massive redevelopment continues, the park has shared more pictures of the site.

The Nebulaz will be called Hampi and the Zamperla Barnyard will be called Psssht Station. Both rides are set to open with the park on April 1st. In total, Bellewaerde is investing €16 million into new rides, restaurants, animal enclosures, and other refurbishments this year.

A tour of the site has taken place, the Nebulaz is on site as well as some theming.




The restaurant is coming along well.



The animal areas are coming together.

Bellewaerde managed to open the Hampi NebulaZ and Barnyard the other weekend, so there's that. Lots of improvements across the board this year, all are completed;

Well with all of this years additions done I guess it time to get started on the parks 2024 Intamin rapids.

Demolition work is well underway in the area and construction has started, with concrete channels going in.

construction is going well but they have released new concept art of the area, now themed to Brazil's tropical Amazon. The 24 million euro expansion will have three rides a the Spinning Rapids from Intamin, a mini flume and a small rollercoaster.
