Anyone want to buy a theme park? Flambards up for sale.

I wonder how many million it will go for? Get ready for Merlin to whip out the cheque book and put up a SeaLife in a tent next year :P
 
I would love to see their figures for last year. Even though they say turnover increased that isn't always a good thing.

Personally I think you would be crazy to buy a park like this unless you were ready to invest heavily, and even if you were there are much better things to invest in than this.

I hope the park finds a buyer though and survives, I've always liked Flambards.
 
If it doesn't survive, then maybe the fab Hornet cred will go somewhere thats easier to get to... like Oakwood ;)

I did like Flambards when I went a couple of years back, but I do get the feeling that it needs some major investment to keep it going. Having a look at a recent map, it looks like there have been a fair few changes in the last few years, but I dunno. Can somewhere in that location really ever hope to expand?

I had a pasty in Wells once. It wasn't very nice.
 
Aww, I've always liked Flambards. I went there about 10 years ago and loved it. It's a shame but can see why it's happened.
