I did search the forums for this topic but I didn't stumble across anything. a Friend told me about these videos on youtube and I wondered what the enthusiast comity's opinions are on the matter? This guy is saying that the Smiler crash was a big hoax, the Facebook profiles of the victims don't add up, a lot of the media pictures are photoshoped and the design of the ride itself would not crash in the way speculated.

I'm in no way saying this guy is right, I have always been open to the idea of conspiracy theory's and it's an interesting idea.

Yeah it's a lot to take in but what do you think?
 
Like I said I'm in no way saying that he is right but I have an open mind, I can't see why a company would do that to themselves is my logic for the BS in this. It's just an interesting point of view.

Just because it is possible to lineup stories and concepts doesn't mean it is right. After all, I think it is pretty well documented the revenue Alton Towers has missed out on because of this accident - far from a good idea if publicity is the goal for creating a ride accident.
 
Yeah, don't give this the air time. It's pretty disgusting when you consider the life changing injuries these poor guys have been through.

It clearly happened and it's plain wrong to take away the recognition of that fact to people who have been forever changed by it.

I heard rumours that CoasterForce was a conspiracy too. Yeah, the leader, Ian Bell, is a cantankerous dictator who gets sick pleasure out of watching people ride creds. He's even started spreading rumours that he sells mazes.

It's bull and actually quite rude. I know I can be an idiot and I'm not always PC but it's not worth even discussing really...
 
^To be fair we're all in agreement about how ludicrous the concept is and it is a coaster related story. The fact that someone could originally make those videos is, yes, very rude, but I think it should have been posted here so we can have a...well, a laugh about how stupid some people can be!

the bloke at the tip I use in Longridge (Lancashire),
his son goes to college with one of the girls who suffered badly in the accident.
Does this mean I imagined it all and the tip worker doesn't really exist?
How do I get my bulk bags of garden rubbish up the steps now then?
 
Well you all seem to have your minds pretty concluded. There is is always something they don't tell you about incidents like this. I know a lot about conspiracy the Illuminati, false governments ect ect... I don't think it's offensive to openly discuss anything. I read a reply saying that it's disrepctful for those injured in the crash, but there are little boys and girls all across the world right now as I type this and you read it that are getting raped tortured and murder. No one seems to spare a thought for any of them... I never said that this guy is right by what he is saying, but he has the right to say it and he has obviously done his research. Maybe Merlin did something to piss off the Illuminati ?? and as for those injured, have any of you ever met any one of them face to face? anyone can make a Facebook profile and use a false name. Anyway not trying to cause negativity or start trolling the smiler crash is a topic all us enthusiasts have a unique view on with our love for coasters, my friends keep telling me to stop going but I just tell them your more likely to be hurt in your car. Sorry if I have offended anyone by posting this but all I was after is the enthusiasts view on the issue.
