2 new Waterparks for Croatia

A few days ago, I was surfing the net for new theme/water park projects in nearby vicinity and I stumbled upon those 2 very interesting new projects for Croatia (to be exact, both of the Waterparks will be built in Istria County, only a 30 minutes drive apart). Both of the parks have their opening date set in June this year, 2014.

First of the parks is AquaColors Poreč, which has been promised to open already in 2012, then in 2013, but it now finally looks that it could open for 2014.

Most of the slides (if not all) will be build by Polin. Latest artwork suggests that the possible attractions could be:
-Polin Turbolance
-Polin Multislide (or Multisurf)
-Polin Magicone (similar to Proslide Tornado)
-Polin Family Rafting Slide
-Polin Spheres
-Polin Uphill Navigatour
-Polin Looping Rocket
+ a couple more slides that I can't really identify
-Wave pool
-Lazy river
-Children's play area

Latest construction pictures (from 27th of February):

The second waterpark in the area will be Istralandia. It will be located in a small town of Brtonigla, near Slovenian border. I believe I've read somewhere that their slides will also be supplied by Polin, but I'm not that overly sure. Nevertheless there are some of their artwork pictures:

Thank you so much for finding this! I'm a huge fan of water parks and Polin is by far my favorite company.

The slides in the second park is most definitely from Polin.

I also like that they drop so close to the ground, compared to the Superloop from pro slide.

I don't know if any of still care about any of these projects, but...

Istralandia managed to open in late June of this year. The park was thoroughly packed during whole of the summer. We've also visited it on one of the warmer August days (this year's summer was rather crappy) and, judging by the crowds that have gathered, they've hit a good niche. Here are some of the photos that I took of the area.
















On the other hand, Aquacolors has once again failed to open. The now official opening date is now set for 15th of May 2015
