Re: 11 Inversion Coaster for China

omg, that's going to be absolutely disgusting!

I love it <3

Re: 11 Inversion Coaster for China

So by the looks of things, this going to be a Colossus clone, with an extra loop.

I wonder if they know of the 12 inversion in (Brazil/Mexico?) South America (was that even confirmed?).

Not official Colossus still holds the record...so I guess this will beat it. Its going to be one ugly looking coaster. Chinese parks don't exactly pride themselves on quality.

Yay, I'm so happy that they have done an 11 inversion coaster instead of jumping straight to 12 like that rumoured South American one.
Breaks my heart that Collosus imposed an extra barrel roll on us when they could have just settled for 9 inversions and still had the record.

Collossus still holds the record because the other one hasn't been built yet..

Check out the name of the company:

Hebei Zhongye Metallurgical Equipment Manufacturing Co.,Ltd

Do they ever get longer than THAT????

The chinese have done well. In 2012/13 they'll have a...

-8 inversion coaster
-10 inversion coaster
-11 inversion coaster
-and a 12 inversion coaster!

The one coaster I've tried of theirs, a basic loop and corkscrew at Sun Park, was actually fine. I'd always assumed it was made by Beijing Shibaolai, but apparently not. Anyway, it was one of the "better", for want of a better word, Chinese knock-offs.

They haven't made much else though, so going from that to an 11-inversion model, with completely different elements is a massive stretch. They're also opening a knock-off SLC next year, which is something new for them.

The same company just built this SLC at the same park. Their first suspended coaster i believe. They nicked the BSA design and seem to have impressively made it worse.

Is it me or is there a MASSIVE kink in that drop?

And I'm at a loss for words with this transition :p

That's gonna be as rough as ####. The drop looks like it's sustained a collision with a helicopter.

Oh man, I can't imagine going through something like that 11 times. That immelmann and the entrance to that "corkscrew" look terrible. And that drop. ugh

Oh dear god. I wouldn't have minded if it was an Intamin. But this company?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO CHINA?! I feel sorry for that country. From Communism to this Coaster.
