Since the last launch method invention several years have gone by. Maybe a company like Intamin of S&S is investing in a new launch system for a future. I would be incredibly intrigued in knowing how it would function, but it might not even occur. It could change the market quite a lot...
Hi everyone. New here, but have been enjoying posts for quite some time. I have a question regarding the headrests on Kingda Ka and other launch coasters, like TTD, Maverick, etc. On Stormrunner my head had to be held back, face facing the sky with the top of the headrest poking my head...
Hi guys. I was just looking at the top 10 fastest accelerating coasters in the world, and it occurred to me that Stealth at Thorpe Park (which I've ridden) is actually 3rd, launching from 0-80mph in 1.8 seconds! However, I found this strange, as I never hear Stealth get very high praise compared...
I doubt anybody will read this, but for the last month or so I've been working on a little project whenever I had the time. This is my first attempt at custom scenery from Sketchup and Photoshop into Nolimits 2.
This coaster isn't what I think will be coming to the park, just what I wish would...
I think both of these coasters are excellent launch coasters. Premier rides did a great job with both. My question to you is which coaster do you prefer. I would have to give the edge to Mr Freeze because of the intense backward launch and i cant get enough of that inverted top hat.
Hi everyone,
I was playing around a lot with FVD and NoLimits recently, but there is one thing I am still unsure about:
Lifthill speeds. Maybe I just suck at estimating but I have no idea how fast any of the lifthills of the coasters I rode go, not even of the coasters I rode 10 times or more...
Surprised I didn't find a thread for this, but according to Screamscape, Carowinds is set to get a new Mack Rides Double Launch coaster in 2019!

This is quite the leak, especially if it turns out to be true! Also yay a proper Mack in the US!
My latest coaster project:
Inspired by all RCT3 Atlantis Rides and Lotte World's Aquatrax...
In my new channel video there is also a little scene where the coaster project is featured:
