Around 3 hours for Scooby-Doo (Warner Bros. Movie World) Australia back in 2002. This was the new ride for that year, and naive me assumed new ride = great ride.
Don't get me wrong, it is fantastic. But consider spending 3 hours+ of your first and only time in Australia queuing for what is...
I think you overestimate the memory of the GP and what they are willing to forgive. This was an awful accident in which there were 0 fatalities. Rides have reopened under much worse circumstances. I doubt there will even be a re-brand.
Smiler will be open for the 2016 season in my opinion.
Re: Something New at Pleasurewood Hills
Anyone sold an old Drop Tower of some description recently?
edit - Jolly Rodger is still a thing though isn't it... maybe some kind of Junior one.
I'm hoping that Nintendo will discontinue the "old 3DS" and replace it with the "New 3DS" thus avoiding any confusion on the shelves at least?
Just picked up a few complete big boxes today; Full Throttle, Leisure Suit Larry collectors edition, Rebel Assault, X-Wing and Dungeon Keeper. Some...
Similar to Transformers Gazza, the "freefall" section of Spiderman is really well executed.
Along the same lines as Temple del Fuego, Backdraft was amazing for pyro effects. There is a brief section where barrels explode and launch like they do in the movie, blew my mind when I was younger...
Mummy for me too. Brilliant pacing, soundtrack and effects.
Hulk looses my interest after the cobra roll. I find the entire section after the MCBR to be rough too. I don't think it's aged well at all.
South Parks episode "Over Logging" has all your answers to where the internet is located, what would happen if it was to ever "break" and who pushes the big buttons :)
I have never bought a Merlin Pass for this very reason. I always make sure I go to any Merlin park with an offer in hand, so I never normally pay more than £20 or so for entry, so 5 merlin attractions per year is fine for me, and it stops be getting bored of them too. Also, it encourages me to...
Old Town is nice, it is essentially one big stereotype after another though (including visitors and the actual place), but its fine to go there, get on a few rides, and there is normally an event on there too. Perfect place to spend an evening on one of your "off" days on holiday or whatever.

I was literally just having a poo when I thought of this. I generally have a dump after dinner... I like to think that the bulk of my dinner is pushing the feces out making space for the incoming dinner... well this is theory I have come up with anyways.
So when do you normally find yourself...
In a confined Queue, smoking is bad. But in the open around the park, I don't see the problem.
Was at Chessington a couple of weeks ago, they have smoking areas now, I wasn't smoking in one of these, and I was kindly asked to go to one. Tbh, I wasn't angry or anything, and the areas they have...
Isn't Van Helsing pretty much immortal? Well.... He's REALLY old in the film isn't he? And 1950 is only 60/70 years after the film is set, and if he is over 1800 years old... and extra few decades wouldn't hurt? Saying this, I can't remember if he is alive or dead at the end of the film.... I'm...
