I’m unconvinced how Lord of the Rings could be made into a convincing area. Everything beautiful in LotR is on a vast scale that could not be replicated in a theme park realistically.

Could they not experiment with faster running rolling stock? Forgive my basic understanding of wheels, but arn’t there different compositions they can use in the wheels to affect their friction etc?

I hope they add theming to it. Talocan is only as popular and viral as it is cuz it has the amazing theming. I wonder if they’ll even bother with water fountains here.

I’m in resort this week too! The park seems both busier and suffering more closures today. I’d be interested what you think of some of their ride operations, they can be a bit abysmal, especially Furious Bacon.

To be honest, the new Nemesis theming they have added makes the area look like X sector 2, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it were for the top spin.

They also have over the shoulder lap bars instead, which are much better!

While not a specific “Theme Park”, the south west has the Eden Project, which is arguably a sizeable attraction that fits into the same “day out attraction” bracket that theme parks do.
