Yeah it’s mostly been under tarps. But as I’m rolling into Scary Farm tonight, I noticed that one of the spikes has exposed new scaffolding. (Note: it’s the spike closer to the station)
You’re welcome. I’m just as curious to see how Monte is doing. And it’s good to live down the street to be able to see it change in real time. I’ll try to keep you all updated as much as possible.
Some lite movement at Monte. Looks like an old piece from the launch track Section. Good news that boots are back on the ground. Nothing else seems to be out of place since last visit.
Fun fact, the orange barrel holding the mortar mix is solid now, from waiting to be used.
Went back to check the progress of construction.
Tracks for the Camp Snoopy Train have been removed, The monte spike (seen in my previous post) is now gone.
And the newest changes is that some of the supports for the spike have been removed.
Aside from that, no movement at station yet.
Went to Knott's for the first day of Boysenberry Festival, and while walking around decided to see Monte. The other spike has been removed and the track is laying next to the Grand Sierra Railroad.
Also noticed that a wooded railing has been installed at the station platform for some reason.
Hi, been a long time lurker and following this thread after Monte went down.
Well it looks like something happened!
