Potentially something like the CF giggas (especially Fury) would work well. Hyperion is likewise very loosely themed. With a ride of this size the structure does most of the talking
I do hope that for once Merlin don't go with a dark theme on this. I'm kind of amazed most fans want it to be horror themed again. Something like Hyperions space theme would be perfect
Acoustics wouldn't be great tbh as kärnans lift is indoors so the acoustics would be warped but then again they would have probably gone vertical lift with a gurst.
Interestingly kärnens lift is extremely quiet- not at all like their eurofighters
Do we have any word if the results of the consultation will be shared or kept internal? Guess some of the feedback will be included with the planning submission as to support from public/ locals for the project and how any concerns were addressed
I think the opposite- OTSRs would be far more difficult to release in case of emergency due to the location of the hydrolics and large plastic structure over the riders shoulders - if it was a gerst clamshell or Mack/intamin you could jaws of life though the main metal armature which pins the...
I will also add that the level of ejector on the proposed elements on this ride would slam your shoulders into any OTSR and make the ride experience extremely uncomfortable- a lot of the reason we are now getting theses extreme elements in the industry is the move towards lapbars on inverting...
Have they insisted on OTSRs on any coaster since the smiler? Modern lapbars are proven on inverting coasters these days and we already have them on icon so they aren't even a new concept to the UK. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if the OTSR system on smiler would have been more difficult to...
Would be delighted if we got something like Karnan which is currently sitting as my no 2. coaster. Sadly not the length here to dethrone that monstrosity. However, if they were going for the tower/ vertical lift gimmick that ride has this would have been shown in the concept art as it would be a...
I honestly hope they don't change what's already there as it looks like a winning layout. Would be gutted if people moaning lead to this being diluted down and having the strong ejector moments weakened. Wouldn't say no to a few hunny bunny hills to finish the ride though
You can chose to go on the train which goes forward only... This kind of makes the vote train pointless as you only want to vote if you want the chance to go backwards right?
Fury is a great ride though and much better backwards
Expecting something similar to the first drop on Kärnan which has a twisted 235odd ft vertical drop and gives phenomenal ejector airtime.
It is probably the second best on any coaster after wildfire (which is already moving at some speed when it hits its drop) I have done
