On its own, maybe it isn’t worth a 5 hour drive. But if you’re already in the South East it is worth the hour down the M3. Plus, although the rides may not be your demographic (which is most of us), there’s no getting away from the fact there are a fair few of them. For such a small park in...
If you haven’t been, Paultons is worth a visit. The theming is really good for a U.K. park and the queues are never long outside of PPW. Plus, there is a really nice atmosphere in the park, you can see that the owners really care about the park and there is this sense of potential, it’s quite...
I’m not sure the local authority would buy the whole “loud noise” complaints for people living near that side of the park (Loggers). There is a motorway in between the park and the nearest housing estate so I’m not sure residents would have a leg to stand on
I'll be interested to see if anything is added to the park in 2023, as has been hinted by Lawrence Mancey. Maybe we'll have more clarity on where they plan to go in the future
Oh ok, yeah I see what you mean. If they are going to go for something more thrilling I could see something like a GCI woodie or perhaps something like Hagrid’s (though I’ve never ridden it so can’t speak from personal experience)
I think saying those are baby steps is a bit harsh. Tornado Springs is a fair bit more thrilling than Lost Kingdom and the Cyclonator does feel like quite a big step for the park. I get that it's no multi-launch, but Storm Chaser will provide a new level of thrill not seen at the park before...
I think there is a clear pattern in the Paultons investment strategy - and that is to hold onto the same group of people going to the parks for as long as they can. They have already ditched the 'Family Theme' part of their name, meaning I don't think it is all that long before we see a bigger...
Chessington have already resorted to copying Paultons - I think Merlin are starting to get worried. I know my Dad’s family prefer the extra drive to Paultons over the queues at Chessington anyway and I’m sure many people don’t mind the extra 45 mins journey time if the day out is more enjoyable...
I think that’s the land directly behind Cyclonator but apart from that I have no idea what that could be. I don’t think that’s where the suspected 2022 coaster is, that is over to the left relative to that photo
Another thing no one has mentioned re the advert is filming an advert is more difficult this year due to Covid. Given how long the area has sat there ready to go, if they could I imagine much more of the advert would be in the area itself.

I have just seen that Google Earth Pro has updated the satellite view over Paultons to now show Tornado Springs. The image was taken in April 2020, meaning most of the area is finished in the image but some things - such as the driving school - are still incomplete. I have attached images of...
I first visited the park about 10 years ago and it’s incredible how much it has changed. When I went, Peppa Pig World was still being built and there was little to no theming. Now they have high quality themed worlds and many more rides. It’s improved loads!

I don’t see how I had attitude but hey ho. Not all of us can get down to the theme parks so it might be nice for those that can to share what’s going on. I have no way of getting to Paultons at the minute and I’m sure many people are in the same situation.
