As a self proclaimed Mandoria super fan, my eyes are glued to this. So excited that they're expanding outdoors!
It does however mean that my yearly tradition of visiting this place during the offseason might not last forever...
Apologies for the double post! And, again, not this trip; but I've done similar.
In a way I feel like the challenge kind of spurred me on? Countless Americans have told me how stupid I am for even considering visiting parks like Holiday World and Michigan's Adventure without renting a car...
I did a huge 3 week US park trip last year relying (almost) exclusively on public transport (while trying to keep uber/taxi usage to a minimum) and had an absolute blast travelling the country in a way that not many people get to do.
I also did a similar trip to this one (only replace...
I've ridden 56! Here they are ranked from, in my opinion, best to worst
Fury 325 - Carowinds
Goliath - Six Flags Over Georgia
Orion - Kings Island
Silver Star - Europa Park
Diamondback - Kings Island
Mako - SeaWorld Orlando
Raging Bull - Six Flags Great America
Riddler's Revenge - Six Flags...
I actually thought Fantasy Island had a pretty unique vibe to it; it's the last major UK park I hadn't been to yet at my time of visiting (Last year!) so it was actually nice to experience some new attractions on home turf for once.
I really liked Seaquarium and thought the two Vekomas were...
When I visited this place I remember thinking 'I am never gonna come back here'.
Wasn't a fan of the place at all. There's pockets of niceness attached with basically zip ties, temporary facilities and as a whole the place just gives off a kind of weird vibe.
I can see why CdA would want it...
If I'm in the US it's all I eat because I can't stand American service. Is everything ok with your food? Can I help you with anything? Do you want a refill?
And then you're expected to tip on top.
Nah I'll just have a taco bell.
If I'm elsewhere I'll eat at a restaurant all day! I hate how...
the coaster lineup is underwhelming but like... let's not forget the elephant in the room. the park is opening NEXT MONTH?
They recently published their pricing and they're still gunning for 31st of May...
How?
Let's give this a crack shall we?
Freestyle at Cavallino Matto blew me away 2 years ago and I'm eager to return to this tiny Italian park this year to ride this TOGO Standup. When I heard the two words together my curiosity got the best of me and decided I simply had to go. I expected a rough...
I've never been in the summer, but I've heard in interviews that it gets quite busy. They've definitely built their queues for crowds, because a few of the coasters have rather long queue setups and I can imagine they hold a decent amount of people.
Both times I've been it's been fairly empty...
that would be me, hi
went back to Mandoria today and had a blast riding Aquila and everything else at the park. It's truly a speed demon!
In total I've ridden it 63 times... that's 126 laps around the circuit!
I've loved Mandoria ever since my first visit here but Aquila is truly something special. The level of effort put into theming is second to none. It's such a deceptively zippy and forceful coaster too, with tons of near misses and even some sneaky floater.
Aquila is awesome. PLEASE come here on...
I'll be making my way here for opening day! Super excited.
I fell in love with Mandoria last year when I visited so I'm so so so happy that this hidden gem of a park now has something that should draw more enthusiast-type people in.
It's a really beautiful indoor park that needed something...
