Okay, this is absolutely brutal. Wtf is the marketing team doing?!
You close five whole rides without warning, including one of the most famous coasters on the planet. It wasn't like it wasn't planned. They also forgot to announce the removal of one of the worlds tallest flat rides.
Like just...
I just can't believe Six Flags isn't announcing these closures ahead of time. It doesn't hurt to give a heads up, especially with freaking Kingda Ka of all rides.
As far as I'm aware, there's no swing launch. There was one in a leaked rendering from a few years ago, but that's clearly no longer accurate (there's no room for it because of the showbuilding).
CoasterStudios is claiming that Kingda Ka is closing this off-season and it won't be announced ahead of the closure. If that's true people will be angry.
I know that it doesn't really matter, but I was hoping we'd see something in another corner of the park. This will be three coasters right on top of each other back to back to back. I thought we'd see the next coaster over by Lightning Rod and the rapids.
Having been on a tilt drop before (Escape from Gringotts), it's not really similar to a dive coaster drop at all. The main thrill is the feeling as the track tilts, the drop is just the bonus. I think both can co-exist in the same park.
That being said, if Top Thrill 2 worked out this would...
He literally had the interview on video with park management. It's not inside info, it's straight from the park themselves.
Trust me, I know not to trust that idiot lol
