☹
Compulsory masks. Just when my mental state was easing
My anxiety is now through the roof again
Hardly slept last nite
Having choice to be face muzzled or just not go out anywhere
Can we confirm all masks are made of special fabric that only allows the virus to go one way. It can’t escape but it can get in
Anyway
Waiting in the queue for Enterprise today at Towers.
Ride op: “ everyone in the queueline get your masks ready to ride”
Probably 80% of those...
For those who like masks
At Alton Towers if you use the skyride you wear a mask
Even though only 1 family group per gondola
Even tho I was on my own
There I was sat in a gondola on my own wearing a mask
Don’t ask me who I was protecting
Towers reasoning : it’s a transport ride
Only been to Towers.
Is it only there they have signs saying keep to the left on paths that everyone ignores
What are you to do when met by a wall of people walking towards you
o_O
Are people a bit better behaved at other parks ?
:) I never said I was going back to normal tho, still sticking to the rules .. just not gonna worry about dying IF catch it
anyways ... moving on
The VAT for theme parks has been cut to 5% so hopefully that will give them a bit more money to play with,
cant see them passing the savings onto...
selfish because I'm not going lock myself away and worry about catching it?
how is that selfish
did I say everyone has to do what I say
please provide where I say I do not care about how I will infect anyone else
please do not make lies about me. much appreciated
you dont think we should...
https://thecritic.co.uk/no-right-answers-only-judgments/
From this article about Simon Dolan trying to take the Gov to court of lockdown
"by mid-June there had been 28,137 Covid deaths, of which 297 were of people under the age of 60 without a co-morbidity, i.e. 99% of the deaths were of...
you are more wise than me, Went back to Towers today... it cant be any worse than yesterday was my thinking .... Oh how wrong I was ?
Wish I'd brought a BPB pass in the sale last winter now
They have no issues with people queuing in the indoor smiler building. I see no reason why Duel should be any different.
1 group per car.
But cut backs. And only limited people in park so reduced revenue there are not enough staff to operate all the rides
To be sat on Towers Street at midday on a Saturday in July and to not have the sounds hundreds of kids running around screaming and having fun is so odd
TBF I hate all kids, they are an abomination and need to be destroyed. However they do bring a sense of life to the park. And not let it...
If I’d been at Throp I would have topped myself I think.
Towers seamed empty of people.
The rides were on and off like a yo-yo
Dark forest I don’t think ever opened
Every other row on Wickerman not used
Smiler waiting to get on had to wait to get off row by row. Hence a 120m queue time...
Currently at Towers. All the life is gone from the park. I have never experienced a place so soulless and depressing.
And I know depressing
Things need to change soon or the entire UK park industry is dead I fear.
think Alton Towers need to rethink Towers Trading.
Was a bit busy in there today.
One way in. One way out.
Only exit was to join the payment queue for the tills.
The amount of people picking stuff up. Looking and putting it back.
1 guy tried 4 different hoodies on but never brought them...
Did I read also if the UK do this the EU are going to take us to court for breaking some sort of rule by only allowing certain travel to EU countries and not others ?
