So I have just seen this via X (source @USGBUpdates)

It appears that Bedford Borough Council have submitted this letter to the Prime Minister. They seem really keen to be push this forward and as said above, I think this’ll go ahead...
Well I just did Hyperia for the first time today and managed to get onto it before the queue became a consistent 90mins.
My expectations were blown away… as much as the area itself isn’t WOW, it’s still sells itself and as for the coaster itself, well damn. I was sat in row 6 not expecting much...
Trains, trains, trains… I strangely love them! They’re giving “Hyperia is a baddie” vibe with her fearless armour. Now I don’t know if that’s what Thorpe Park were going for but the design gives an armoured, sleek look and it’s obnoxiously bold. I was expecting more a of an angelic “carriage”...
Can I just say how brilliant it is to see Nemesis up and running! Did I expect to hear it roar like it did in the testing footage, no. Am I pleasantly surprised, yes! I expected Nemesis to run slow on its first runs, just like any other coaster, she has not bedded in yet but have no doubt this...
Let me join in on the trim conversation!
Personally I’m not going to let a trim that is not even in use yet affect my opinion on the ride, I don’t think any of us know how it’s going to ride, it’s purely speculation at this moment. There could be numerous reasons as to why a trim has been...
This is a very interesting development. Again I believe UK parks have needed to step it up for a VERY long time, so whatever is being planned or going on behind closed doors seems to be something to watch out for.
Hahahaha this absolutely made my day, if only though? Not too sure how people would feel about flaming flying monkeys, H&S would be going wild but I suppose it’s all part of the fun.
Tbf I hadn’t looked at it like that, it would be a very welcome change indeed along with other improvements if...
These new visuals are everything, I’m damn impressed! I’m so excited for this… hearing that theme hit again was something else.
My only question is, Nemesis Inferno, our other nemesis. What will happen to her name and logo? Is it time for a change to just INFERNO. I think so.
The traction this has gained already is crazy. I have already seen some of the local newspapers reporting on this - this is pretty big news for the local area; I assume it’ll only make it more attractive for businesses etc so there’s the wider benefits to it too but also fills that hole in the...
I don’t wanna get too excited but I feel like a little kid again! Genuinely hope this comes into fruition - there’s a lot of factors as discussed before - road connections are brilliant with both the A6 & A421 - the proposed Luton M1 - A6 link road and Luton Airport down the road which again...
As someone from Northern Luton (Yes, Luton 🫠) this would be perfect plus I have always looked at that spot either driving down the A6 or taking the train and yes, I agree, the perfect place for a park. Might be wishful thinking on our parts though!
Anyway on this topic, would be fantastic to...
^ Agreed, couldn’t imagine the vertigo I’d feel. Just doing some research, and those things can reach up to 66m (216ft) which is insane, so props to these guys!
Anyway that element is beautiful, very aesthetically pleasing too if I must say! I genuinely cannot wait to see the rest go up now...
I’m generally amazed at how fast this has come together but suppose there wasn’t much ground work to do. It’s great to see Nemesis back in place.
I’d also like to think that Forbidden Valley would get a little tlc this off season but guess that’s something where we’ll just have to wait and see...
I think it looks more akin to the zero g on Nemesis Inferno now, still snappy but slightly more gradual but would need a side by side image to compare.
I did always wonder when a UK park would release a virtual POV & off ride shots of an upcoming coaster as do these Six Flags & Cedar fair parks & it does build a lot of hype imo. I’m glad to see it!
Would be interesting to see if this becomes more of a common thing now in the UK.
Anyway, I...
Would make sense that Slammer is removed next closed season before Exodus opens just to tidy up that part of the park especially as that will be a VERY busy corner from 2024 onwards.
Once Exodus (THE Intimidator) is open I reckon that we’ll see a lot of changes in the park going forward in...
Agreed!
I think this is perfect for the younger audience who are willing to be daring…
By no means is this a monster Wing Coaster but it fits the bill and fills the niche in Chessington’s line up.
In terms of ride experience, none of us can say until we ride it for ourselves.
The more I see of this coaster, the less length becomes an issue. It’s short a punchy like the rest of Thorpe's coasters and they still manage to deliver - fits their portfolio. Would find it odd to have a park full of 2000 to just below 3000 ft long coasters bar Stealth and then an extremely...
I am totally obsessed with how this thing looks on the skyline! As said before, giving a mini CP vibes but I love it; very much compliments the existing line up to… now the only spot on the skyline that is missing something is between Swarm and Stealth but that can wait! The more I see about...
Right now that I have let all this information process and marinate in my brain, I’m actually looking quite forward to this. I certainly was on the B&M hype train (insert obvious pun here) but after seeing this I’m impressed with such a unique layout for the space and the constraints they...
