    Kings Dominion or Canada's Wonderland?

Thanks for this info! I was shocked thinking now we need a passport. Canada's Wonderland is just north of Toronto, so a road trip will be planned in the next few years up there! Also, Volcano the Blast Coaster is a bit small, but a very fun and a unique ride. It's at Kings Dominion.

    The best of the Giga's?

Thanks for you insight since you've rode 3/4. Can you elaborate what you meant by trimmed first drop and do you think under normal conditions it could change your opinion. I have to admit going back over I-305 I saw photos of the coaster Que-line and for some reason I never heard the full name...

    Rank the Six Flags Parks

LOL... yeah, La Ronde don't interest me with their website. But a few other SF parks don't either. I always like to try new parks, but unless I happen to be close by many don't make me pay the travel to go there, and in some cases like SFDK in (near SF, CA) I've been pretty close 4 times but...

    Rank The Best Wing Coaster

Exactly, coasters like X2 are souped up wing coasters to include other elements so they are different. So, really how can we fairly group them in the same class? Let's then group stand up coasters with traditional steel coasters since they both ride above the tracks and then try to be surprised...

    Best and worst names

Worst: Hurler and Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket. Hurler makes me think I may end up wearing someone's half digested lunch. The name does not fit a coaster. HRRR, come on, dumb name and too long. The title should go with the fact they play music while you ride. Best: The Beast 2. Montu 3...

    Your first Drop Tower experience

Supreme Scream at Knotts Berry Farms was my first drop ride. I waited until after riding all the coasters before I got up the courage to ride. It's listed as 300 ft and after you fall you bungee part of the way up a few times. I was scared about a third of the way up. I feel safe in coasters but...

Worst coasters you've ridden (Bottom 5/10)

Mean Steak was by far the biggest disappointment. I was expecting a great coaster and it was by far the slowest and worst big size wooden coasters I ever rode.

    Most famous rollercoaster?

Space Mountain - World's most famous coaster. Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom may not be the world's most thrilling park, but it's probably the World's most famous park. Space Mountain has been around forever and has a unique look like no other roller coaster in the world. It's still a fun...

    Rank the Six Flags Parks

Of the 5 Six Flags' parks I've been to, and lucky for me I didn't have any memorable bad experiences with the parks' employees. 1. SF MM - The clear winner for me. 2. SF GA in N.J. - Great coasters and some interesting rides. 3. SF OT in Arlington - very good park 4. SF OG in Atlanta - very...

    Scariest Roller Coaster You've Ridden

It's not a roller coaster, but the ride I was the most scared to get on was the Supreme Scream @ Knotts Berry Farm. It was my first drop ride. I feel much more safe and it is easier on my stomach on coasters than on tall drop rides. Now to conquer my fear next time I'm at SF Magic Mountain I...

Which UK Coaster Has Most Airtime?

I only been to UK's Blackpool Beach park back in '84 and I remember riding at least 3 coasters. I think it was the Grand National (wooden coaster) I rode alone the lap bar did not lock and I was flying up and out of my seat holding on for dear life and the bar was flying up with me. This...

    The best of the Giga's?

I would change my vote (I voted Steel Dragon 2000) from what I seen with MF and I-305, I didn't think Leviathan would be any better, but after seeing the poll results and viewing Leviathan I agree I probably would like Leviathan best, and Canada is much closer than Japan. I am planning a trip...

Predictions for your future number 1 coaster?

I could see on the POV that Steel Dragon would have air time on the bunny hills. It would be a nice long ride, the world's longest steel coaster, plus taller and faster (and in my opinion better) than Millennium Force. I have never had a park have a rude attitude and then their management have...

Predictions for your future number 1 coaster?

Nice topic. There is so many great steel coasters it's literally impossible for me to pick a favorite. Now, with wooden coasters there aren't near as many great coasters. First it was Beast, then Son of Beast, and currently is Voyage. Ghost Rider was a pleasant surprise and Mean Streak was a...
