What ever happened to this coaster when Southport closed down I'm 2006? With Blackpool's wild mouse gone it would be nice to find out it's still in storage somewhere and not been scrapped.
I have just been looking at season pass prices for next year and on the Merlin website it appears to be cheaper to pay monthly than pay the whole thing upfront. Isn't it usually suppose to be the other way around? I think it came to just under £140 for the monthly option and £179 to pay up-font...
Apologies if there is a post on this already but I thought It warranted it's own topic rather than in the small news section. I was jusr reading the local news paper and came across this article...
There doesn't seem to be anything about it on Wiki, I definitely remember there being one but I was to young at the time to have a go. If I remember rightly it had a somewhat gory name and it was near a kids play area somewhere behind Mischief Mansion
Some Wacky Worm in Cyprus, which I can't find on RCDB, but have a picture of me on it. Only foreign coaster I've done, Unless you count Wales which would probably be Megafobia
The mouse was an ace little coaster but nothing lasts forever. Does anyone remember King Solon's Mines in Southport? I was only young when I went on that but I do remember it packing just as much punch as Wild Mouse, but yet it just vanished without a trace
It's something that I wondered for years. The ship still moves, presumably it couldn't have huge operational costs. I just remember it been a really cool walk through ride and never actually found out why they closed it.
I think they should of left it another week before opening this year. The rides obviously weren't ready. I suppose they never expected the massive crouds, but it's a major theme park. I sat by Icon watching the staff turn away people for about 45 minutes hoping it would get testing again, but no...
No need I just got back myself. I'm so glad that I didn't pay to get in today, I'm sure pleasure beach will be hit with complaints. I only wanted to go on Icon a few times as I was passing before work, it was down which is fair enough not everything goes to plan all the time. I didn't really...
I like them. I have never had the opportunity to visit any park outside the UK, it's cool to see what other parks around the world are like. In Vlogs it's like your walking around with them. That said nothings ever perfect and I do have a few pet hates. I'm drawn towards Theme Park Worldwide, I...
This is something I genuinely struggled with for years. I have no problem going on most coasters, however there is still a certain a few I'm yet to get the bottle for. Inversions, suspended coasters, lap bars ect.. really don't phase, yet rides like the Big One have always frightened the F out...
I was at the pleasure beach just for an hour this morning, I noticed in the station for Icon that the back row had a separate queue with a larger height restriction. Is that fast pass / wheelchair access or can you actually wait for the back row?
I also read that Icon actually went down today...
As a born and bread Sangronian it's got to be Icon. Even though I have lived 20 minuets away from the Pleasure Beach for years I have spent more time at Alton Towers. I hadn't been to any parks for about 2 seasons and just had to try Icon last year. I got my very first season pass as soon as...
I was reading online last night and I came across this park Id never heard of before on RCDB. Apparently it had a Corkcscrew, was this same modal as Alton Towers and Flamingo Land and does any one have old pictures / stories about this place?
It's the Train from Manchester Airport to Blackpool North, obviously you can get on at Piccadilly, They used to run every hour. When you get to Blackpool just walk down that main road the train station is on (towards the sea) and then you can just get a tram from there to the park.
Does the Pleasure Beach pass have any decent perks like the Merlin ones do? I remember getting a few friends in half price and discounts on various things.
