Well, I guess at least SFGAm didn't get a Fireball? Trying to see the positive here.
I really hope Cedar Fair doesn't adopt the Six Flags approach in coming years. I don't know how they can make a business case to put 15+ million into a B&M when their competitor is spending less than...
You have to add .jpg to the end of imgur links.
Not where I imagined they would put a Justice League ride. I noticed piles of wood on the other side of Eagle (towards Washington Street) about a month ago while I was there though so that makes sense to see action in that area.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Sad for his family but it's hard to feel sorry for the person killed when he 1. put so many people at risk of injury for a stupid cell phone (that was likely broken anyways) and 2. completely ignored all the signs saying not to enter that area before...
Re: Cedar Point Closes Good Time Theatre - Coaster or Dark R
You guys really think they would put a brand new coaster on a shirt and not put it's name? Like most merch it's probably a generic design with the park name & pictures of specific coasters over it.

Fright Fest doesn't start until later in the day (I want to say 5pm) so you won't have to worry about scare zones until then.
Some of the rides (mainly flats) are rethemed or renamed but that is limited to decorations.
My experience is that during Fright Fest the night times have large crowds...
No, I would much rather stand in line to re-ride something I actually enjoy.
I've also skipped clones (like Batman at SFStL) because I can ride the one at my local park any time I want. Would rather get the most out of my time and re-ride something more unique.
Re: Are the major chains greed destroying guest satisfaction
SFGAm has open bins for most of the rides. I'm struggling to think of one that doesn't in that park.
The US is crazy about enforcing liquor laws. Local governments will send underage secret shoppers in to test establishments and...
I have been super busy the last couple months and had no time to research the rides at BGW. I think I enjoyed the park/rides a lot more going in with almost 0 expectations and not seeing the POVs beforehand.
It's easy to say you're your own person and other's opinions do not influence you but...
Maverick - Too high of a level of ejector and twisting turns. I get that people that have ridden 500+ coasters probably treasure that as it stands out but I'm just not a fan.
Makes sense though as my top coaster is still Millennium Force and a lot of people will disagree with that. cool)
Re: Wooden coasters dwindling in number
Goliath at SFGAm is defying that logic I think. I am interested to see what the lines are like in the future because it had consistently longer lines than Raging Bull in it's first year.
I disagree with that. Again referencing SFGAm you have 4 woodies...
Re: Cedar Point Closes Good Time Theatre-B&M Dive Coaster 20
You're comparing it to some of the most expensive coasters in the country. Pretty much anything is going to look cheap relative to those. :)
Six Flags naming a coaster Batman: The Ride that is not a B&M invert. Especially when you consider there is a B&M "Batman" model at the park with the name Goliath.
