It was pretty clear no one wanted it. This isn't a surprise, I've been saying for over a decade that I'm surprised every year it reopens, especially post pandemic. That said, losing Dragon Mountain hurts a great deal. Still probably the best Arrow Looper I've done.

Honestly I think it looks like it'd be fun, but most importantly the park desperately needs it since they got rid of the old flume and it's going to be incredibly popular.

Thunderbird is an incredible ride and not close the best of the wingriders. If this is anything like that or better it'll be a great addition to the park.

What a bummer. I'm happy the park is getting some investment, but as a local removing the (now) best best ride in the park for a windstarz is not what I want to be seeing.

This actually was more than a fan rumor, it was part of a guest survey, but sadly this is all that was ever heard about it and it's pretty clear SF isn't really interested in large scale investments for DL right now.

You're underestimating Darien Lakes pull from Toronto. It's much bigger than you'd think. The number of canadians who go camping to DL for a weekend is high.

Sad to see this go but it basically never operated so not a shock. Doubt it'll get any sort of coaster replacement. This park might as well not exist with regards to investments since it already has a stranglehold as the only park in a resort destination there's no need.
