Actually, tilting the footers like that is a very efficient way to direct only the resultant forces towards the ground, creating purely compressive force on the footer, rather than putting a shear force on the bolts holding the support to the footer.

Its likely to be a dummy block, so he can have a train on the lift just as clears this point.
I designed that corner, and the Gs in it are fine.

Those supports work quite well, I don't think the top needs supporting, it looks as if it should be able tosupport the load fine. Send me the revised version later and I'll take a look.
Did you manage to sort out that Lat. spike on the entry to the first inversion?
These two supports need moving out quite a bit.
As you can see from this picture, the two supports on the far left of the picture have quite an angle to them, preventing the tower from moving too much in that direction.
