Yeah, I talked about this earlier- some trees getting the chop to make the site bigger.
Tho I don't know how far back the park limits go into the wood that borders the left of Corky's lift hill.
^It's all speculation at this point, no one 'knows'.
It's easy to see why Ug Land could get closed- this new coaster seems destined to be somewhat intertwined with RITA.. On the other hand closing the parks most popular ride for a year would surely affect 2009's revenue.
Could The Gravity...
I think this area will require very canny landscaping.. of course the proximity of one ride to another and also being crammed into a tight space often enhances a ride experience.
It is quite an odd plot of land to work with, I'll say that.
I'm wondering when SW3 became known to be an...
Coaster corner- seems like there is a reasonable plot of land there...
UG Land- this pic shows that RITA pretty much entirely boxes in the SW6 site.
It will be interesting to see if SW6 is confined to that plot or if it does indeed somehow travel over/around/through RITA and also occupy the...
Interesting... how big would you say the area is?
Also- can you post the photos?

On the subject of Alton's potential future coaster sites...
earlier in this thread someone claimed SW6's site was the last available plot in the park, but that's not true.
-If the Black Hole ever gets removed that would leave enough space for medium sized coaster.
-Also what about...
Yes, well,.. gotta love the squabbling here, heheh.
It will indeed be interesting to see if this DM turns out to the tallest and steals Griffon's record.
The best ever psyhe-out theming was for Oblivion.
The videos when you are waiting for the ride-

Vekoma's model is called 'Flying Dutchman'.
It's a flying coaster as the name suggests.
The main difference between it and B&M's model being that riders are loaded on their backs and then take the lift hill in this position. Once trains reach the top of the lift they flip into the prone...
