First of all, go ride Nemesis at Alton Towers. It's one of the best rollercoasters in the UK and probably (in my opinion) the best invert in Europe.
Second of all, you've got to love those last two sweeping helixes on Inferno; and how they just whip you around those turns.
Not so sure about it...
Personally, I think TH13TEEN could have been more of a terrain coaster to make the feeling of pursuit and urgency more apparent in the outdoor coaster section. Also remove those trims.
Why am I not surprised by this
I really love Alton Towers but in the scenario you chose, I'd pick PortAventura World, Europa Park, Efteling or Phantasialand
Worst roller coaster I think I've ever ridden is the Pinfari looping coaster in Brean.
Needless to say that I won't be riding it again upon next visit.

Went into it absolutely terrified simply because I'd never been on an upside down roller coaster up to that point.
Couldn't stop smiling when I came off.
It's one of the worst theme parks currently open in the UK and it needs some new investment e.g. a new coaster ASAP.

Overrated: The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. They made it big, they made it fast, but that's not really what enthusiasts look for in roller coasters if I'm going to be brutally honest. It's basically just a roller coaster for the GP.

Sorry to reply to all of your posts, but have you been doing your research? Alton Towers aren't allowed to build above the trees, so they have to build downwards and be a bit more creative in order to even be able to build anything good, and the fact that they still make great rides regardless...
