    Parks With The Steepest Topography

Familypark Neusiedlersee, Liseberg and Tusenfryd are quite a challenge for those who don't live in the Himalaya's.

Hansa Park | Kärnan | Gerstlauer Hyper Coaster

I didn't like Karacho, easily the worst of the four Gerst launchers I've ridden. Rattly, painfull seats and a launch that follows a drop to fast, causing my head to hit the seat like I'm in a wrestling match. Novgorod is awesome though, hopefully this one will be too.

What is a ride that you wanted to ride but you could not?

Re: What is a ride that you wanted to ride but you could not I did a 4 days-trip to the UK last year, and the credit I looked forward to the most (The Ultimate) was closed. Some mayor problem with the lifthill I guess, it took a few days to re-open. On my only visit to Chessington 2 years ago...

Should Alton Towers Keep The Smiler?

I like The Swarm to myself and even prefer frontwards. Back on the Smiler: I don't really believe it will be closed forgood, but wouldn't cry if it did happen.

    Accident at Alton Towers

While Sirocco wasn't expensive (Walibi founder Meeus ripped off Schwarzkopf on that one), it was and still is equally well-known. Many people still refer to it as Sirocco (or Turbine). And while the GP in the UK may not know the coaster, neither do the GP in Belgium or the Netherlands know...

Should Alton Towers Keep The Smiler?

So you are saying that if they announced Swarm as a World first (thus lying), it would have been a hit? I'm understanding it as "It is not important to have gimmicks or not, just announce it this way and the GP will come towards your ark of lies".

Should Alton Towers Keep The Smiler?

Maybe because those expensive rides got more marketing budget?

    Accident at Alton Towers

I wouldn't say that. In 1997 we had an "accident" here in Belgium with Sirocco (now Psyké Underground) when the train "valleyed" on the top of the loop. There where no mayor injuries at all, but the ride is still well-known for the incident over here, even though it's been 18 years now.

Should Alton Towers Keep The Smiler?

I don't know you, but I like you. <3 Scrap it! Not a painfull ride, but dull and boring. It adds nothing to the ride line-up. Alton Should get a proper waterride or Family Coaster.

Rides not up to the job

De Vliegende Hollander - Efteling is one that comes to my mind immediately... One year delay, can't operate normally when cold (this was the target) and regular breakdowns.

    Liseberg PTR

Look at the bright side: even more reasons to re-visit. And you probably didn't visit their insanely well done ghost walkthrough either? Another reason. ;)

    Austria 2015: Familypark Neusiedlersee

Re: Austria 2015: Wiener Prater Part 1 ^awesome news. For myself, Boomerang was a damn fine coaster. I also liked the woodie: it's obviously not for adults, but themed very good and overall great fun? You have gnomes peing on you, what else do you want? Loved Zug der Manitu for the same reason...

Germany & Belgium: Part 7 (Rheinkirmes Düsseldorf)

Re: Germany & Belgium: Part 4 (Bobbejaanland) Bobbejaanland was my home park for quite some years. When I grew up, it transformed drastically. Most of the great rides went out (Looping Star, Troika, Breakdance, Bobby Drop, Rainbow, Santa Maria) and what was left and newly built either sucked or...
